Labor of Love

Each year Zonta joins with other local charities to help in the Labor of Love. The overall event is hosted by The United Way of Illinois Valley.

This year we partnered with professionals from Coca-Cola, Rotary, and Maze Lumber in order to help remove an old porch, scrape off old paint, add new paint, and fix up a yard for a woman in need.

Sometimes Zontians help with spreading the word about women's issues.
Sometimes Zontians hold elegant events to raise money to help fund the needs of women.
Sometimes Zontians collect items for needy individuals.
...and sometimes we put on our gloves & safety glasses, grab some tools, and put our backs into lending a sister a hand.
